Taste 5/5, Health 5/5, Cleanliness 4.5/5, Interior 5/5, Location 3.5, Service 1/5 (I don't know how the fat guy got this job, but he is clearly in the wrong line of work. If you can't smile and don't like greetings, then don't take a customer facing job), Value 5/5 View all feedback.
What Mary Lawrence doesn't like about Erik's Delicafé:
Been here a couple of times, mainly because my grandkids like it, and although the food is generally fresh, I find it rather expensive for what you get, especially when there’s very little service involved. It wouldn’t be among my top 25 choices if not for the kids. View all feedback.
Paying a visit to Los Gatos to see Ol Pegleg Pete the skipper of the Flying Squirrel, that went down on Thanksgiving day during a Nor'Easter back in 2018. He lost his leg on that one! And get this...he says it's the best thing that ever happened to him, because he got to get a real honest to goodness pegleg! I took him to Erik's DeliCafé for a quick lunch and let me tell you...it was Amazing! The sandwiches were as delicious as any I've ever had. 5 stars
My parents took my husband and me to lunch here. I had the Isle of Capri veggie sandwich. It was like having a Caprese salad in a sandwich form. It was very good. I just wish the bread was a more robust sourdough. I also got the Miss Vickie's Sea Salt chips, which I really recommend. My husband had the chicken gorganzola salad, which was also very good, fresh and tasty. It was large and had a generous amount of chicken--and LOTS of nuts and cranberries. My parents did their standard order of turkey sandwich with butternut squash soup for her and REM Speedway sandwich with clan chowder for him. They were both very happy. It's counter service. You can eat inside or out.
I like the mellow vibes at the Los Gatos Erik's location. The Pilgrim's Progress sandwich is delish as always!
Customer service is amazing and food is made with love.
