Some patrons raved about the outstanding food, with particular praise for dishes like the Thai basil chicken and the pineapple fried rice. Others, however, were disappointed by their visits. Complaints included inconsistent quality, early closures despite posted hours, and finding bugs in the food. Despite this, many customers enjoyed the flavorful and generously portioned meals, with favorites being the pad siew, pad thai, yellow chicken curry, and drunken noodle. The service received mixed reviews, with some mentioning a need for improvement in this area. Overall, Sticky Rice seems to offer a mix of delicious Thai cuisine in a bustling market setting, with the potential for both delightful experiences and disappointments.
This place has some TASTY food. Highly recommend eating here. Great Thai food. I got a few dishes. Pad Thai was good. I got some rice noodles that were good. I got yellow and green curry, both super tasty.
Walked the entire market and chose Sticky Rice. My friends went the el Salvadoran cuisine route. I went with the pineapple fried rice with chicken. I’m not a small human, and that filled me up. Very tasty. Aside from the amazing food options, the people watching in the market is quite entertaining!
I've gotten food here a few times and it's always been good! It's ready pretty quickly and reasonably priced. I most recently got the yellow chicken curry. It was like 70% chicken which is awesome because usually other restaurants will just put a bunch of potatoes as filler. The only problem I had was the chicken was in two huge pieces and very difficult to eat with a spoon and fork. I was kind of able to cut it with a knife from my husband's food but it was still tricky. Tasted great though and was a very large portion.
We tried the tofu pad Thai and the braised beef panang curry and both were very good. The beef curry was definitely the better of the two. The pad Thai was a HUGE portion and not too sweet but I would have preferred much less noodles and more of the other ingredients, it was honestly way too much for any one person to eat, so it felt very wasteful. Maybe get the pad Thai if you are very hungry!
First time eating here. Delicious flavorful! I ordered the “Gai Yang” and my favorite part about the plate was the papaya salad. Perfect flavor as a side to the chicken and rice.
