This is our favorite restaurant in our new neighborhood. It is small and picturesque and feels family owned. They have ten different types of gnocchi – and they are all amazing. Very affordable wine list also. And the best Tiramisu I ever tasted (also in Italy! . View all feedback.

We were on Saturday night. Pomodoro is usually busy. My mother ordered a NY steak and was very specific in the question that it “pink in the middle” as they had previously overtaken her steak. When it came, she cut it up and the steak was well made, except for the TINIEST bit pink. When we crossed the manager, he would not only take back the steak and make a new one, he argued with her that it was pink in the steak and therefore she got what she ordered. I could not believe that this manager would argue with a customer, and he repeated that he “so busy” this evening and could not make it a new one. I don't know about you, but I don't apply any restaurants that treat your customers this way. We won't visit Pomodoro again.
I've been here for 11 years 1 to 3 times a week and I've never been disappointed. Her chicken dishes are excellent, gnocchi melts in your mouth and Risotto is heavenly. And if you like a good tiramisu, you will love her! Davide the owner chats with any table and Celestino, the manager, is also welcoming. The waiting and bus staff is sweet and on the ball. It is a very small restaurant and can be incredibly much to do, but they do their best to offer. I know an evaluation said that they didn't cook the NY Strip Steak right and, to be honest, I had no idea that she had EVER Steak on her menu (must be a special one) but I never met this problem nor have I ever seen Davide or Tino rude for everyone. It is regrettable that someone had a bad experience, but I guarantee you it is not the norm. Personally, I think you can judge a place through its clientele and Pomodoros has many regular ones that I recognize on every visit. I bring all the visitors and friends here and made regular by everyone. Amazing food, great prices and a great place to take a date!
