This is the best Italian food I've ever had! The pizza is absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere here feels incredibly authentic, and the staff and service are truly commendable. The owner is probably the kindest and most down-to-earth person you could meet. Overall, this restaurant is a must-visit, especially for lovers of Italian cuisine. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Palermo Italiano:
The service was excellent. We had made a reservation, so we didn’t have to wait at all. The wine list was reasonably priced, and we received a great recommendation from the owner.
As for the decor, it had a cozy vibe with red walls, square lights, maps of Italy, and old photographs adorning the space. It all came together nicely, making it a perfect setting for families or a casual night out. And seeing law enforce... View all feedback.
Now, in a word amazing! for the first time the owner went on the phone with an order, but still made me feel like a master guest with warm chicks and nod. we sat in a few minutes and our drinks came as if with magie! the meal started with a small piece of pizza for each of us as an appetizer. we ordered and in less than a minute we have eaten our salad. sometimes fast service means lousy food. not here! a generous salad of fresh greens just as crispy as they would expect in a fine culinary experience. then followed by giant plates of pasta. Even with our great appetites we couldn't eat!
The service was fantastic. They make you feel at home. The meat ravioli and garlic bread were good! My wife had the chicken parmigiana but didn’t like it. It wasn’t crispy and it was a bit chewy.
This restaurant gets 5 stars for the hospitable service alone! The guy seeving our food was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Our main course dishes were simple and tasty! We will definitely come back here again.
Service is excellent. Food is excellent. Owners are excellent and caring. Thanks for treating us so kind!
We haven't been to Palermo Italian Restaurant in Los Feliz for decades and it is just as friendly and hospitable as ever! The food is straightforward home Italian cooking, as it always had been. The service starts with a phone call to the restaurant as dinner service started to ask about parking. He stayed on the phone with me until I found the street a few minutes later. I was so impressed. And I could tell our long time, accommodating server that I never lose an opportunity to tell people how Palermo made my husband and I (and everyone in the lively crowd on line waiting outside) feel so welcome with a glass of wine servers passed to us all. They still do this for $1 I understand. And, sigh, when you walk outside, there are people in walking in the streets, which what I miss so much about living in the area!
