The pork katsu curry was fantastic! Really crispy, great quality meat, and the curry was a nice thick consistency. The potato croquette was also very tasty and well fried. But the shrimp tempura was very undercooked, with the batter still goey under a first layer of very pale and chewy batter. It was super disappointing, but everything else was so good I'll consider it a fluke. Overall I'd come back to try more from... View all feedback.
The cuisine here is genuinely authentic Japanese, and as someone of Japanese heritage, I am thoroughly impressed with the overall quality. While I haven't explored other dining options in the area, I'm confident in recommending this establishment as a solid choice. One point to note, however, is that the service might not meet everyone's high expectations. Additionally, it's important to be aware that the restroom facilities are not accessible to the public.
Tried donkatsu loin and tender. My new go to donkatsu restaurant.
I never leave reviews but I just want to say they have the best Katsudon in Little Tokyo. People seem to be giving this place lower marks because of the atmosphere but honestly the food makes up for literally everything.
Pork katsu for 20 dollars.. tough meat.. small portion.. almost no service from servers.. 15 dollars for house hot sake? Overpriced for what you
So happy to get Katsu that’s almost as good as those in Katsu restaurants in Japan.
