Fun, hip vibe and good cocktails. Good service. Food OK but not really traditional Taiwanese flavors. A little less sodium and saucy seasoning would go a long way. View all feedback.
What Anna Pak doesn't like about Little Fatty:
The dishes were flavorful and delicious. When we got there for our reservation we were sat right away but essentially told we only have an hour to eat and they need the table back for other guests. Very trendy place and I get that but made for a rushedexperience and we skipped out on dessert in fear of getting kicked out in the middle of it. View all feedback.
So Good! I ordered orange chicken, dumplings and vegan thick noodles. Everything was delicious. The vegan noodles come with a garlic sauce and it's intense, which I like. Not recommend for first dates or if you are going out after, you breath will still smell like garlic even if you try brushing your teeth, lol.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and vegan options
Friends took me here last week and I’m a little upset it took so long. Little Fatty is wonderful. The space itself is very cool: a great bar, roomy tables, and a cool glimpse into the carry-out operation that seems massive. The restaurant is well staffed with servers and runners being hyper-efficient and friendly. The food does not disappoint. We shared what felt like too much food, but it was so good we crushed just about everything. The Walnut Shrimp was excellent, as was the eggplant. But the Taiwanese Sunday gravy is a truly special dish. The noodles are cooked perfectly no the depth of flavor in the ragu is remarkable.Great food and great experience.
Super good Chinese food.I had the sesame chicken and it didn't disappoint ... parking sucks but worth it.Fast service and very polite!
4 stars for the food:I visited Little Fatty the first time in Oct 2021, and every dish my friend and I had was nearly perfect (some were a bit salty). I was especially impressed with XO Fatty Noodles—rolled chow fun was crispy outside yet tender—and General Tso’s Cauliflower—sweet-sour coating was crispy and flavor was spot on.Before my friend and I visited Little Fatty again in 2023, my friend said she had visited the restaurant 7 times during this period and the food quality, especially the Fatty Noodles, has been inconsistent. So this time we didn’t get Fatty Noodles, but still had General Tso’s Cauliflower along with Walnut Shrimp and two noodle dishes. Cauliflower’s coating was indeed unevenly crispy. Walnut shrimp was crispy, sweet, and tender—my favorite dish of the night. Noodles in Taiwanese Sunday gravy was chewy and tender.Mocktails here have been one of my favorites—creative and flavorful.Despite the inconsistencies in food, Little Fatty is a magical Taiwanese restaurant. The food here is a combination of everyday street food and dishes that are less common yet with the Taiwanese flavor we are familiar with, all with different levels of fusion twist. With a bar inside the restaurant, Little Fatty has an amazing vibe—trendy, stylish, energetic—and is perfect for occasions where you want to have a lively chat and good laugh with family and friends at night. The diversity of customers in Little Fatty is unseen in other Taiwanese restaurant, perhaps except for Ding Tai Feng. It’s always an awe for me to see how seemingly local Taiwanese food is so welcomed by people from different cultures.
Well spaced stations and buzzy eye level dry goods. Bread, ice cream, prepared meals and blistered pizzas coming out of a pizza oven. Wine and beer and a nice selection of fresh fish. Pick up orders are efficient and staff are friendly and helpful.
