I ordered the falafel hummus plate and it was fantastic! The pita bread was delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The outdoor seating with heat lamps was a nice touch. What chobesoy doesn't like about Dune:
I give this restaurant 3.5 stars. I am usually not a fan of beets, but I was pleasantly surprised by the sandwich I had here. It was refreshing and didn't have the strong earthy taste that beets can often have. The sandwich was delightful and fresh. I had so much falafel I am a knower, this falafel is delicious! Amazing crispy outer (fried) soft interieur with many green crumbles! hummus is also amazing!
I love the falafel pita sandwich with dune. the freshly baked pita on its own is excellent. all ingredients are fresh and well seasoned. another great option is the hummus falafel plate. the hummus is creamy and tasty and the falafels are crispy and not too dry. I recommend to them to check whether they are in the city, and if not it is definitely worth a trip. updated by previous review on 2021-06-09
I always do the falafel plate or the falafel wrap- both are incredible. The sandwich is so piled high with condiments and crispy onions you can’t close it. The hummus is always creamy and I particularly like the pickled turnips on the side. There’s usually a line and I get it!
Ordered: falafel plate Wasn’t expecting it to be as good as it was and ate it all and enjoyed each aspect of the meal. The falafels had a good texture and we’re particularly garlicky which at first I thought was strange but actually really enjoyed it. All of the pickled veggies were nice, my favorite being the cabbage. The hummus was very smooth creamy and delicious and went well with every bite of food. I would order this again.
