Another reviewer found their Valentine's Day dinner to be overpriced and lackluster, with mediocre service. Despite a nice ambiance, disappointing food and service led one patron to vow not to return. However, a glowing review of Cafe Verona highlighted delicious food, excellent service, and a charming atmosphere. The hidden gem impressed with a unique menu and lovely patio setting. While interruptions from the server were noted, the overall dining experience was delightful at Cafe Verona.
Before heading to the restaurant, we checked online and found out that the restaurant had closed and was in the process of moving. Unfortunately, OpenTable did not notify us of this. Thankfully, we saw this information before we left. I attempted to call the restaurant, but the phone line was constantly busy with no response. OpenTable should be aware of restaurant closures and inform customers with reservations about these changes.
Shame on Open Table. We have loved this restaurant, made a reservation for a birthday celebration, and arrived to find the restaurant closed and the contents liquidated. NO ONE CALLED. Luckily we contacted another restaurant who accommodated the party and we moved that location, albeit having a much later celebration that night. Someone should have called to let us know that the restaurant was no more and Open Table should have known this... Makes me question how well you stay in touch with your restaurants. Now you contact me to have me rate this closed restaurant. Please get your act together.
The meal I had at Cafe Verona was incredibly delicious. I ordered the asparagus and quinoa egg dish, along with a mimosa and coffee. The staff was excellent and the atmosphere was charming. The patio where we sat was adorned with art and plants, creating a secret garden-like ambiance. The three other individuals in my group also raved about their meals and the overall atmosphere. Cafe Verona truly is a hidden gem.
This restaurant is a hidden gem in the neighborhood with a charming interior, a varied menu, and a fantastic atmosphere. The food is absolutely delicious.
Before we went to the restaurant, we noticed online that the restaurant was no longer opened and moved. Open table didn't even let us know. Fortunately, we saw this before we left. I tried to call the restaurant, but the phone only had an activated signal without answer. open table should be aware of the restaurant closures and let people with reservations know this.
