Contribute FeedbackEn Sushi is a trendy neighborhood spot with a hip vibe and solid sushi rolls, especially the unagi and softshell crab. The ambiance is intimate, the fish is fresh, and handrolls are made right in front of you. While some find the American-style maki appealing, others prefer more authentic Japanese options. The menu is creative and the decor is exceptional, making it a standout in the Brentwood/West LA area. Prices are moderate, but some feel the quality doesn't quite match up to the cost. Overall, it's a dependable place for sushi if you're in the neighborhood.
Surprised to find this place bustling on a Tuesday night. Happy hour until 7pm explains it. I'd last been to En Sushi about ten years ago. It seems to have gotten a makeover trending to the moody and hip. Rolls are as good as I remember them, especially unagi and softshell crab. En is a solid, dependable place for sushi.
I used to come here often when i worked in the neighborhood. The menu has changed. And so has the prices. The appetizers and main course was yummy but don't try the tempora ice cream.
One of our regular stops for sure! the temperature, taste, and freshness can only be matched, never beat in my eyes. I tend to pick rolls a la carte, but be smart and save your money....pick the set menu instead! Every time I go I roll my eyes at myself for getting less than my bf but paying more.
LOVE this place. This is as close to quality fast food Japanese as we've gotten. Unique experience, delicious handrolls, great people, and speedy service.
Really good service and overall a good experience. I ordered the Mix Sushi and my brother ordered the Mix Sashimi. For $25 each, we both got a decent amount of fish, as well as a good miso soup and salad. The service was quite great as well. Perhaps if there was a little bit less of that shredded daikon in the sashimi that would have been better, but overall very pleased with En Sushi. They have outdoor dining too!
