on Friday, May 14th, seven of us sang in la terraza. some of the comments from our table was that this was the best Japanese food they ever had. the menu contained many sorts of sushi and some sashimi. the cocktails were very good and the service was excellent. View all feedback.
What მურმანი ვაშაკიძე doesn't like about La Terraza:
this restaurant is seating high.. about two hundreds feet from the water. great view, romantic, but, the food is not very good for the price you are pay ..The Italian dishes are far from authentic ,the menu similar to other restaurants in Loreto.l am not...going back View all feedback.
Wasn't expecting the caliber of culinary skill for restaurants of this type in little Loreto! WOW! Was I pleasantly surprised! At the last minute, we decided to bring some our fishing success with us to see what LT could come up with. Our Yellowtail was...first prepared as a sushi appetizer (like butter) with the remainder prepared several other ways for our main course. We also had Chicken Teriyaki for the non-sushi eater, but the treat for us all was the big plate of Tempura vegetables that came with the meal. We are usually here for two weeks so LT provided a great change of pace that we will take advantage of more often. Note: Patience is required, visit here for the experience and unique menu, not a refueling stop!
They served us burguers, mine was ok, my friend had a flank steak one, notice that flank steak is better meat but if you order a burguer don't you expect the meat to be grinded? Sushi, i would go back for sushi, Lino is the...best sushimaker in town, he used to be the cook at augies bar but now he moved to La Terraza. Beer was cold enough for the winter-spring but i'm not sure how it will be during the summer.

If you're craving Japanese food in Loreto, try La Terraza but don't expect real Japanese style. We tried the tempura and teppanyaki as we were not sure whether the sashimi or sushi would be fresh. The tempura flour was different and not nice. The teppanyaki...was more like stir fried vegetables with beef but tasted good.
We ordered the 20 piece sashimi plate and the Mango roll to share. The sashimi was fresh and had a variety of sauces to complement the fish. The roll was good, but came in a soy wrapper rather than a seaweed wrapper and the rice...was a little under cooked. They don't have a menu in English at the restaurant, but we had an english version in a travel book so it helped with ordering.
