What an incredible gem in Longmont! The food is delicious, and the bread pudding is to die for. Tammy was so friendly and welcoming to me as a first-time visitor. View all feedback.
What Anneka Pawlak doesn't like about Tortugas:
I went to eat here last week with my parents for their anniversary. I informed the staff that I had food allergies. The staff helping us was very nice and helped me modify the food item I wanted to make sure it included no gluten or dairy. Unfortunately the food did cause me to have an allergic reaction because there was dairy in it, and I ended up having to miss work the next day because of the reaction. I do not wa... We recently moved to Niwot and had Tortuga’s on our list of places to try, based on the Yelp reviews and their menu. We really enjoy good food and love exploring new dining options in the area. I had been eyeing the Cajun chicken for weeks! We finally decided on a date night and made a reservation. My partner is from Louisiana and is always on the lookout for a great jambalaya, and Tortuga absolutely delivered! The jambalaya was hearty and full of flavor. The Cajun chicken was something I will definitely crave again! We can't wait to return. Our server has been with the restaurant for 10 years, which speaks volumes about the establishment, and the owners are the chefs! The place has been around for 27 years, which is quite impressive for a locally owned business. We were thrilled with our experience!

I've never had a bad meal here; they always look forward to dining at this place. They particularly love the terrace seating during the summer months.

We started with an appetizer that I can't quite recall the name of, but it was delicious shrimp wrapped in bacon—so good! For my main course, I ordered one of their specials: Mahi Barbados paired with a margarita, and it was all just marvelous! As someone with Cajun roots, the chocolate bread pudding we shared for dessert wasn't what I expected, but it was still really tasty—don't get me wrong! Our server, Michael, was fantastic and attentive, and they cheerfully provided boxes for our leftovers. You definitely need to give Tortugas a try!
