Contribute FeedbackGondolier Restaurant in Longmont offers a mixed dining experience, drawing a loyal clientele while facing criticism. Many patrons praise its cozy atmosphere, attentive service, and generous portions of classic Italian dishes like spaghetti carbonara and garlic knots. However, some diners have expressed disappointment over inconsistent food quality, such as poorly prepared pasta and unexpected menu omissions. Policies regarding takeout have also sparked frustration among guests. Despite the polarizing reviews, Gondolier remains a beloved choice for some, particularly for its inviting ambiance and extensive beer selection. Overall, it’s a spot that evokes nostalgia, appealing to families revisiting cherished traditions.
We have NEVER had a bad meal at the Gondolier! My wife and I took our party of ten to the Gondolier for our birthdays, and we weren't disappointed! The food was SO flavorful and the waiter was prompt. LOVE THI PLACE!! A GEM in Longmont!
The food was good but their policies are ridiculous. They flat out said you can’t have a ‘to go’ box until everyone is done eating that way we don’t steal the all you eat pasta that was served. I really don’t appreciate being treated like a young college student. Especially when I’m going out to eat with my family (husband and three kids 7- 17). I don’t need to steal $2 worth of pasta from your damn restaurant!! Offensive- I’ll never go back. Respect is super important to me.
The menu has many options. The beet salad was scrumptious and the Linguini Alle Vongole was tasty. Service was very good. All together dinner was enjoyable and we will go back.
We love gondoliers so incredibly much! Wow. Absolutely delicious every single time. They are amazing. Braden is an incredible bartender server. Every time we have been in there, he has gone above and beyond. I could not give this place a better review. Their food frequently visits my dreams. I highly super extra recommend!Vegetarian options: There are many, many options!!!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free pasta is to die for! Mmm.
Is the chef Italian?? Pasta was over cooked and not salted. My “spicy Italian sauce” was neither spicy nor Italian. To improve the flavor of our pasta we ordered sides of the other sauces (sweet italian, Alfredo) sweet italian was okay, Alfredo was not. Everything we order was tasteless or not Italian tasting. Even extra red chili pepper and salt didn’t help. We left most of our food.I should have heeded to the other reviews and skip this place. I usually, hate wrti g these kinds of reviews. But just don’t want customers wasting their hard earned money on no quality food. I hope they read this and make some changes to their menu. Pic of food we left behind.
