Mekong offers consistently excellent food with good-sized portions and a wide menu, perfect for takeout. However, the service can be inconsistent, and the seating is uncomfortable for dining in. They do not accept cards, but offer a diverse selection of Chinese dishes and fabulous noodles. The salt chili shredded chicken and Sweet and Sour chicken are standout dishes. While the service may be slow, the staff is friendly and helpful. The free ice cream cones are a lovely touch. Despite some minor flaws, Mekong is a top choice for authentic Chinese cuisine in Longford.

Really like this place, very tasty Food, always fresh chicken which is tasty and soft. Prices are affordable and they do daylie special which cost u cant gp wrong with that, big variety of dishes, my favourite is red chicken curry, can eat it...every day, times a day haha View all feedback.

What User dislikes about Mekong:
I'm not sure where to begin with this. I informed the restaurant that I was vegan and asked if they could substitute egg noodles with rice noodles. They said yes, but then proceeded to give me egg noodles instead. I was told to just order rice and soy sauce to make my meal vegan. The food was average at best, but I would recommend going elsewhere. I would rate it 2 out of 5 stars. View all feedback.

Large room with wooden tables and benches. The menu offers numerous choices with original proposals. The dishes are very good.

Stopped by this restaurant on a Saturday evening while traveling West from Dublin. We were seated quickly and served promptly with delicious, freshly cooked noodles. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was simple and clean. The take-out service seemed to be bustling as well. The prices were reasonable, making it a great value. Overall, a fantastic experience with nothing to complain about!

This soup is the best I have ever tasted! It is spicy and the prawns are juicy and succulent. I even brought it home a second time to add noodles to it. It is scrumptious and delicious.

MeKongs is a clean and welcoming restaurant. The service is quick, friendly, and efficient. The menu offers a variety of delicious dishes that are hard to choose from. The prices are very reasonable. Overall, MeKongs offers fantastic Asian cuisine right in Longford. A big thank you to the owners and staff for their fabulous service. I will definitely be back. 5 stars.
