I had an amazing experience at this hotel with its friendly and professional staff. The price for the location right downtown was excellent. The room was comfortable and they even allowed our dog to stay for free. The parking was $32 a night with unlimited in and out privileges. What User doesn't like about The Westin Long Beach:
The paid internet at this restaurant is terrible. It has the poorest connection I have ever experienced in a hotel, and I have stayed in multiple rooms here. Even if they manage to find a stable connection, it is extremely slow. I would not recommend wasting your money on it. View all feedback.
Stayed there for a convention at the Long Beach convention center. The walk to the convention center was further than I thought but still doable. The plus side of this hotel is that there are plenty of places around to grab food and the cafe in the hotel had a great grab and go breakfast selection (for a fee). The downside: the room smelled terrible of smoke (as well as the overall hotel). I can't believe I was placed in a room that smelled so pungent. We also had a barking dog into the late hours next to us and an alarm clock in the next room that went off in the early morning. It was also quite loud in the room from outside noise and noise from the hallway. The quality of the hotel was not up to par with the price per room.
Comfortable,quiet and very clean hotel in the heart of Long Beach.Also,the staff couldn't have been more helpful and reactive.Following my report of smelling cigarette smoke coming through the bathroom vent,I was immediately offered a new room in a different part of the hotel.Within minutes,someone was knocking on my door with a new key.After a very long haul flight,this was much appreciated.I highly recommend this place.
My first room smelled terribly like marijuana, my second took the shower didn’t work properly. The cleaners forgot to turn off the hotel alarm clock which went off at 6am. Someone called the hotel phone at 8am (I was hoping to sleep in a bit). The front desk manager reduced my rate which was good, but that didn’t matter so much as the issues with the room. Room is also very small.
Beautiful stay. good service. room with good view. there is a beach and some other attractions in walkable distance. restaurant has very few options. overall had a good time.
Don't forget to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ when booking a stay. This website will compare thousands of hotel sites and usually will have rates much cheaper than others! Thank me later! This place is one of the best in this area. I have been coming here for a very long time. If you choose this place you for sure will love it I'm sure!Awesome hotel, clean, great customer service. Valet were fast and professional, and helpful. Help desk had great recommendations too
