This was my first time visiting and I really enjoyed it. The staff was friendly and provided prompt service. The food was delicious, especially the breakfast which included fantastic Texas toast. Overall, it was a great experience and the coffee was also very good! View all feedback.
What Aura Pintilie doesn't like about Benson's By The Beach:
I had Eggs Benedict with bacon which was quite good. The hash browns on the side were undercooked and tasted like they had been cooked with a low quality oil which left an aftertaste that detracted from the meal. My husband had an excellent quality ham steak cooked perfectly, but his egg and hash browns had the same oil aftertaste that I experienced. The bright spot was the incredible server, Noah. The title says everything. her breakfast was fantastic! you would wait an hour because it was worth it! they expanded the restaurant so that the waiting time expires (still under 30 minutes, so not super fast,) but eating is now so bland. not sure what happened, maybe they lost their cooking staff? it's a pity because they used to be a bright spot.
Great food good portions hubby are all his eggs Benedict on crab cakes. I enjoyed a breakfast quesadilla...took home leftovers. Attention to detail with a great cook! Loving staff like you're at home.
Great restaurant that has been here for some time (many others come and go). We only ate breakfast there on two consecutive days.We had the french toast, breakfast burrito, pancake and eggs/bacon/hash browns.Portions are good sized, prices are decent and food was hot and fairly quick. Mostly standard breakfast options. The staff is mostly younger kids, (I assume high school-aged) but they are obviously well-trained, courteous and friendly.

Recommend coming here for breakfast if you are staying in Longbeach. It's busy around 9:20am on Friday and had to wait to be seated. While waiting a lady brought coffee, that was nice and hot.I had a meat omelete with hash browns and orange juice, very small but still was delicious. Wasn't too much meat.Mom had Eggs Benedict, hers was bigger and she really liked it.Five stars for service and food.*They also had this table upfront that said reserved it was very sweet because of what it said and what everything on there symbols.
