Veloce Italian Kitchen - London

I have been a long time Veloce customer and have previously reviewed them and given a great rating. Recently, I've noticed a huge lack in level of customer service and tried to write to them separately on their site and also called, no one ever returned my inquiries. On Sunday, June 4th we placed a delivery order for a birthday meal. When the meal arrived, the delivery man was quite flustered and didn't know which was our order. After that was resolved, he advised me that there is a charge (1.50) to use the debit or credit machine for my order. I've never been charged to use this machine in my long Veloce order history and had not been advised about this at the time of placing our order. Veloce has decided to not employ their own delivery drivers, so the people delivering the food have no connection to the restaurant. The previous drivers that were Veloce employees were kind, energetic and great to deal with (and didn't charge you to use the payment machine!). Beyond the unappealing delivery experience, our order was wrong. We had ordered gelato (2 scoops x 2) and were only delivered one scoop (disappointing as this was a birthday treat meal). The pizzas were also smaller this time and the lettuce (arugula) in the salads was wilted. Not what I was expecting for a $50 pizza meal for 2.All of this with a 1 hour delivery time to boot...I called the restaurant to voice these concerns and the young woman on the phone said a manager would call me the next day to resolve this. I was never called and so I contacted Veloce on the website - still no response. You have lost us as customers and I will certainly be sharing this experience with friends and family to help them avoid the disappointment we've felt with this experience. Summary: work on your customer service model - needs a lot of work! And get back to using your own delivery drivers!

I was really unsatisfied with the pizza because I paid for the toppings but I didn't get them!!!I ordered my own created pizza which was half grilled chicken and half Italian sausage with mozzarella cheese, mushroom, tomato, and green pepper. At the first time ,I got pizza with all the toppings on one half but only cheese for another half ! so I asked them to change it based on my order , but for the next time they forgot to put the mushroom and tomato.I ate the pizza because I was so hungry and didn't want to wait again and discuss about that.

Service was fast and friendly I am not sure if they have whole wheat crust or healthier crusts. The toppings could have been a little more generous and the booths a little bigger.

Friendly staff, wait time to order very short. Wait time to receive orders a 1/2 hour notice people coming in after us getting theirs first, so we ask a server obout our 4 orders which wasn't to different 3 were the same other was different , servers response was they weren't use to being this busy then finally 2of us got our pasta dish and it was cold, they were to happy to remake all three pastas once received they still were not even warm, I mentioned to the server this all she said was Im sorry she didn't know. We won't be returning there, definitely won't recommend them.

Love the food and the concept. The seafood pasta bowl was fantastic; large portion and plenty of seafood. Very quick and efficient.
