This little gem is located in the Covent Garden Market right across from Budweiser Gardens. Firstly, the service is always very friendly. I usually get the red curry chicken combo which is excellent and gives a good mixture of foods including pad Thai, wontons, and spring rolls. And the combo is only about $9. For a fast food place, the quality is high and it's very affordable. I think it's well worth it for a quick,... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Thai Delight Authentic Food:
I've been to this place 3 times and the first time was awesome, I had the crispy chicken and it was perfectly crisp, even in the sauce and generally delicious all around. So I decided to try again the next week. That time it was super soggy and a little gross with a ton of filler vegetables and very little chicken. Since I was 50/50, I wanted to give it another shot so I went again a few days ago and it was soggy aga... View all feedback.
Thai food is my favorite and this place was very good! Tom yum was excellent!
Got tofu pad thai! It was hot and fresh. I could have used a bit more sauce since I could taste the flame grill on the tofu. Oh and give me some more veggies to keep it healthy but that might not be as authentic!
We ordered Chicken Pad Thai (combo) and Pad Thai with Shrimp added and a Spring Roll on the side last night. The Pad Thai was an inedible block that tasted like store bought frozen mush, it did LOOK good, but by the time it was at our door it was just 2 lumps of noodles that had to be pried apart and in the end got served to the dogs as it was not good. This was the Number 1 Recommended Pad Thai in our Area on Uber Eats, but I cannot recommend it in the future. Thank-you for making it, the spring rolls were very good.
Sadly not a delight, quality of the food was poor as it was quite bland and lifeless. The vegetables were over cooked and the whole experience was less than enjoyable. I will not buy from this restaurant again.
I tried this mainly because I was craving Thai food and for the good reviews. Well, it is pretty much is a notch down from like typical Chinese mall food, not even close to Thai. I ordered the Cashew chicken combo and it had no cashews on it, just walnuts and one peanut! Came with like four small pieces of chicken. The Pad Thai is not even remotely close to actual Pad Thai...it is literally just a bunch of noodles sauteed in soy sauce! No peanuts, lime, sprouts, absolutely nothing but noodles in soy sauce. The won tons literally has nothing in them, just a star shaped piece of fried dough. I didn't have high expectations, especially considering the price, but I did expect food with some kind of attempt at resembling Thai food...there was no resemblance whatsoever! Food at the mall generally is more impressive, this wasn't even average, I would say a step below average. I think people gave it such high reviews simply because it's cheap and lots of food for the price.
