Unconventional for sure. But fun. Especially fun if you meet Leo, the owner! He's very special and full of great stories! The pizza and panzerotti are excellent and the price is great for value dinners. Only downside is they're not licensed to serve beer/wine. So have a few drinks first, then go visit Leo! We tried this place today based on TripAdvisor reviews by others. As stated by other reviewers the décor is dated and the owner was there sitting to the side greeting all customers. Very nice people.....we ordered two large pizzas..one with peperoni and bacon and one with peperoni bacon and olives. When we got the pizzas home they look good but sadly were not very flavourful. The sauce was thin and there was not much... View all feedback.
This pizza was a life changing expereince, and i mean that literally. I watched a life change before my eyes. A mans life. I cannot speak further, but papa is a good man. The pizza we made and ate together was the best one of my life. Because I was alive. Papa bless
Nestled just off the lively Richmond Row, near the train tracks, is a hidden gem of a pizzeria that you might overlook while driving by. Stepping inside, you're transported to a classic, authentic, and family-owned establishment with dim lighting, Italian music, and Papa warmly greeting you with bread. It's truly an awesome experience. Despite living downtown for years, I only discovered this place by chance 5 years later. We've been back twice already. The pizza is delicious - salty, cheesy, gooey, with a fantastic crust. The marinara sauce is bursting with oregano flavor. Both my wife and 6-year-old agree that it's their new favorite pizza spot. The salad dressing is exceptional and the pasta is perfectly cooked al dente. We can't wait to try more dishes. Kudos to this place!
We recently moved back to downtown London and were reminded of a fantastic pizzeria/restaurant nearby. We were very hungry and eager to try everything on the menu. The large deluxe pizza was on special and only 50 cents more than the small size, so we chose to go big. The panzerotti and salad were also in large portions, leaving us with plenty of leftovers for the next few days. Despite that, the food was so tasty that we couldn't resist eating it all in one go. This restaurant only offers takeout and accepts cash only, allowing them to provide fresh and reasonably priced meals without delivery fees. The salad was filled with fresh vegetables, feta cheese, olives, and a homemade Greek dressing. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning soon. Watch out, Papa's, we'll be back!
Have been told that they have the best pizza around. And I cant disagree; friendly staff and he was very honest. Showed me a better deal for my money. Every dollar counts! My fam was esthetic when I brought it home! Next time have to try their panzoratti...
We have discovered Papa's in the last year and been back often. The Pizza and Panzarotti are absolutely fantastic and the family who runs the place are wonderful.
