I attended an after party at this location and have to say the bartender on that night (didn't catch his name) really knows his stuff. As I was waiting for the other people to arrive I watched as he worked like a well oiled machine. He didn't miss a beat, handled numerous drinks at the same time with ease and directed the waitresses seamlessly! I didn't have anything to eat, just a glass of wine which was a great sel... I have had reasonably good lunches here, but dinner the other night was terrible. The feeling was that everything was heated in the microwave.I can't think of anything positive to say about the food. The place is dated and dusty. We won't be back. View all feedback.
3.5*-ish. I've been back a few times since my last review. A couple of work-related lunches (usually someone's order is missed and/or screwed up) and a few...
I was here before I watched a movie. I forgot they had half price wings on Tuesday nights and I forgot how delicious they were. I ended up ordering the...
Food is decent. Ordered fish and chips (2 pieces fish) and was not disappointed. Fish was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Tarter sauce and...
Dropped in for some pub food. Ordered the nachos, which were ok. Also had the vindaloo, also ok. Good beer selection. Service was good.
We were here for a friend's birthday party. The restaurant is tired with a lot of stairs. We were in a lower section that consisted of two rooms. The first was open to the restaurant above, the other was more enclosed but had a very wide opening which made the two rooms feel more spacious. We pre-arranged for the tables to be in the enclosed room and the chairs placed in the open room for mingling and photos. With 50 guests we had a name card station set up at the entrance to the rooms. The one thing that really impressed me was how helpful and friendly the staff were. The opened tabs for each person and kept track of names so that we could easily reorder drinks no matter where we were in the rooms and quickly learned who was on what tab. For example, they remembered that my drinks went under my husband's name. They even put on event name tags. We didn't have a proper dinner but instead had a buffet of appetizers. The food was decent. It was standard "bar food". Nachos, flatbread pizzas cut into small pieces, fries, crisps and something that looked like hot wings redone into tiny balls. If in London again I will definitely try the Fox & Fiddle again.
