Dooly's - London

I used to love Dooly's but they have really gone down hill as far as consistency of product. Of the last 4 visits, I have been unsatisfied 3. Last time the salad was so drowned in dressing and pickle juice that it was too tart/strong to eat. This time they forgot the pita chips and there was so little dressing that it lacked flavour. My friend said "Why do you still go there? I quit them a year ago." Noted.Also, when you let them know, you get an apology but no effort to make it right. Very disappointing.

The day I was in there they had two people that had just arrived into our country. Neither one of them would have been a certified food handler and they both were doing food preperation.

This place has mind-blowing food! Amazing chicken shawarma but my favourite thing to get is the Chicken fattoush salad (I get it with everything except hot peppers! Don't miss out on the sauces.)! It is always fresh, satisfying and delicious! I've had much middle eastern food over my life and this is one of the best spots I have ever been in North America. I crave the salad frequently. You can't beat the price either! This places is WAY better than barakat for those who want a comparison.

Dooly's has 2 take-out locations in London: Original spot at 1345 Huron, and one at the University gates. This is a small family run business. Dooly's products are excellent, custom-created, great sauces and very reasonable. These are the Best Falafels in town; great fattoush salad, and homemade hummus. Authentic Middle-eastern flavour. It's absolutely worth trying these falafels alone or with salad or fries! They have nice Baklava for dessert or pita chips and hummus to take home. (We've had a LOT of Falafels - these are our favourites)! New: Digital Menu with lots of options in Mealsy.biz is now Ready.

There are far better Shawarma places in London but Dooly's is affordable and the portions are large. However they do a superb Falaful and the fries are pretty good. I personally prefer Pita Palace, the Bakarat or Babas.
