There was a large group of us over two tables, so we had food from a set menu, it was delicious and everything served at the same time, waiting staff were friendly and helpful, and I will definitely be going back, they even packaged up...my leftover pizza for me to take home! The restaurant was great! The service was excellent and friendly, and the food was especially delicious.
In my first course, I was served three slices of bread with a variety of toppings. One was delicious (mushrooms in cream), but the other two were diced tomato and something bland that lacked flavor. They were both unimpressive and uninspiring. For my main course, the sauce surrounding the pasta and meatballs was cold, and even after bringing it to my attention, it was only slightly warmed up. However, the dessert, a Panettone bread pudding, was a standout success.

The food and service are always absolutely fantastic. Staff are friendly, they remember your face (even after a year! and clearly know the menu inside and out. Never a long wait, even when it's busy, and the food is always absolutely delicious. The menu is full of dishes I'd love to try, but I often find myself drawn to the sensational Capella Romana. I would eat here every day if I could! I've not even tackled the deli counter yet. Next time...
