Contribute FeedbackThe Dock Kitchen is a hidden gem with a great location and friendly staff. The menu is experimental, seasonal, and original, drawing inspiration from Parle's cookery books. While some diners have had mixed experiences with the food and service, many have enjoyed the unique dining experience and the ever-changing menu. The restaurant's sleek interior, open-plan kitchen, and large deck overlooking the canal make it a popular spot for locals and visitors alike. With its international cuisine and stylish setting, the Dock Kitchen offers a memorable dining experience for those looking for something out of the ordinary.
The food was, as always, delicious. The service was unusually slow on this occasion.
Great food. Inventive menu, Great service. Loved Ruth maitre d/manager. Been twice now loved it both times.
We live in the Kensal-Rise area and have been in the Dock kitchen for many years, mostly for special occasions like birthdays. It is an oasis of style and the canal side escapism a much needed antidote to the frenetic cityscape around it. People who enjoy design get an additional kick from identifying a number of Tom Dixon lights and house furniture dotted across the dining area, and can treat themselves to a visit to the showroom below during the day. Food can be quite experimental and often changes. We had some excellent meals over the years, and some that do not seem to work quite, but it is always interesting! This time we went for their very cheap ten pounds of lunch menu. It was tasty, but if you want something more adventurous, eat a la carte.
We love dock kitchen and go there a lot. I was a bit disappointed this time. The food was OK but usually it's great and the service was a bit distant. We will be back and hope for a better experience.
Food was excellent.... Service could do with concentrating a bit more.....long wait for waiting staff and it wasn't mega busy I would still go again
