Chrissy D. Stumbled across this restaurant on the way home last night at 10:20 and decided to get a quick bite to eat. My friend and I shared a Diavola pizza which was INCREDIBLE. Perfect consistency of pizza dough with a tangy tomato sauce beneath a well balanced cheese/meat/chilli ration. Divine. Brilliant prices, decent sized restaurant. Service is fast, if not a little abrupt. Perhaps that's because we sauntered... View all feedback.
What Carli Haley doesn't like about San Gennaro:
I love this place! Pizza is Neapolitan style (thick crust and thin centre), delicious sauce and toppings. The decor is not the best but service and food are great! Their bread is very good as well. Prices are reasonable and service is fast and efficient. Definitely will be back! View all feedback.
I returned after 18 years when I lived in London, renovated apartment and pizza always the top! Congratulations, guys!
Relaxed family Italian with great quality food. We've been coming to this cosy Italian restaurant for a few years now and the food and service are always spot on. They take the quality of their ingredients seriously (buffalo mozzarella is standard on the pizzas) and a great selection of Italian favourites done well beef carpaccio, spaghetti Vongole, fantastic pizzas. Price deals from 5.30pm or lunchtime at weekends are a bargain. 5 mins walk from South East exit of Battersea Park.
Finest Neopolitan pizzas, fluffy doughy crust, thin base, light tangy tomato sauce. The calzone was spot on, ricotta, ham and mozzarella were delicious. To wash it down, the valpolicella was excellent. Even more pleasing were the bottles of imported (much better than UK brewed under licence), Peronis. One of the best London pizzas. And fun and affordable to boot. Great neighbourhood place, but well worth a trip to visit

Great pizza base, just like in Napoli and even lighter! Choice and quality of the ingredients very good, especially the tomato sauce, to die for. We had a kids birthday party of about 20 people and waiting staff and kitchen were very well coordinated and all dishes came out together. Not a simple task with big numbers! Overall a great experience, parking nearby, highly recommended.
