Contribute FeedbackRoka offers a premium dining experience with fresh, well-cooked food that leaves diners feeling satisfied. While some guests may find the noise level distracting and the service lacking in attentiveness, others appreciate the warm and inviting ambiance, especially during Sunday brunch. The portions may be on the smaller side, especially during events like the TimeOut deal, but the quality of the main dishes like black cod and soft-shell crab make Roka worth a visit. Whether it's for a post-theater meal or a special occasion, Roka's eclectic menu and stylish interior make it a popular choice for those looking to indulge in Japanese cuisine in the heart of London.
Absolutely excellent! we ordered a lot of food, but my favs were (in order:) chutoro nigiri, lachs nigiri, miso black cadjau, yellow cocksalat, robata spargel.
Great food, well presented. my preference was the black cod, salmon and carving. pretty busy restaurant, but the service is good. beautiful touch to see a part of the kitchen in action.
Really great eating, loss of the variety of beautifully made Japanese dishes. services are great, they really take care of them. the workers of cocktail bar know what they do and qualitatiw make high quality drinks. has long been one of our favorites.
No doubt this is such a highly rated place. Was here on my last UK trip, and had to even wait a while to get to enter. The cuisine, the preparation (they have an open kitchen in the centre of the dining area), the service, the courtesy of the staff... everything was out of the world. 10/10 will recommend. P.S. will pinch your wallet, but it is worth it.
Went for the Sunday brunch special, service was excellent, the food was very good as well, but some dishes weren't great and the portions seemed excessively small given we ha a party of 6. The dessert was my favourite by far though.
