What TittiLondon doesn't like about il trillo:
I am Italian and fancied a good plate of pasta today. We did not know this place but we decided to give it a go. Nice interiors and kind female waitress. Yes we saw from the menu that it was not a cheap place but we were expecting something special. We had 3 different dishes, one was good, one average and one tasteless. They charged me 11.95 !!! for one glass of wine they recommended and 4.95 ! for each bottle of wat... View all feedback.
Average restaurant by standards in london. pleasant enough experience, but eating does not really live up to the hype. had the thun fish tare for starter, which was in order and the cadry for the main course, which was hard under seasoned and the most boring fish shell I have eaten lately. Although it is well known for its meat and house wine (our host ordered a bottle from a strange background) in any case the bar above the street the main attraction for this restaurant in a quiet corner of chelsea would have been one, but since they pay chelsea prices here, it falls a craving further in the value for their money.
. a great winner for me in this hidden little jewel was the part of his weinlist from weeps from the family weinberg – what I was trying was of very good quality.
The restaurant il trillo is located in the district chelsea and offers a large selection of typical Italian dishes. the restaurant is a family business, a family that brought the real Italian spirit to this place. the ingredients in the feeds are fresh, organic and natural products. would recommend the maltagliati verd pasta with bark and parmesan(or the trio di sorbetti mango for dessert(
One of the best Italians in chelsea, concentrated mainly on Tuscan cuisine. eating is delicious and quite expensive and the environment is very cozy and romantic. great wine list, quite Tuscan, a bit overpriced.
Il Trillo has obviously took the clandestine approach to its opening the later part of last year, as neither me, or my friends have heard of it. Many of them being locals have neither heard of the street it sits on – Hollywood Road. I too only recently discovered it, and what a great street it is full of small scale, family run restaurants and wine bars which no one quite knows about I was browsing the Michelin guide before I came here, looking for a local restaurant holding a star, or two. Unfortunately for me we are no longer in the recession so everyone seems to be eating at fine dining establishments, before I used to have no problems getting a table when a Pizza Hut buffet was...read more
