We had reserved a table on Easter weekend for Saturday afternoon. The weather was great and after a very warm welcome we could choose whether we want to sit inside or outside. We decided outside. Service was super friendly, warm and funny, food has tasted, beer too, prices are ok. All in all we like to come back. View all feedback.
What Vojko Tratnik doesn't like about Freiberger Schankhaus:
The haxe was very dry, but quality cannot be expected if the dishes are brought to the table 15 minutes after ordering. The location itself was very nice, though very heated. The waitress was kind. View all feedback.
Very tasty, staff very friendly, eating everything was brought as ordered. always liked.
In our 8 days in dresden we visited 2 x this original restaurant. I can only recommend booking especially at the weekend. the personal is super friendly and the food is delicious and arranged with love to detail. Although the restaurant was full, we had to wait neither for the drinks nor for long eating. it was a very nice evening and at our next visit in dresden the Freiberger schankhaus is again on our list
Based on the famous regional beer of Saxony, this restaurant prides itself on authentic Saxon cuisine and it does so with a bang. The menu is concise boasting a wide array of beers and local dishes. The top 2 dishes are the Schankhaus Pfanne and the Haxe and These 2 are a must try. The beer compliments the food really well and if you have any trouble pairing it up, The staff are always on hand and will readily help you in attaining that desired goal. Truly a brilliant restaurant in terms of authentic Saxon cuisine and authentic Saxon beer. Cheers
Uncanny friendly, very tasty german cuisine and a quaint, beautiful ambience!
During the last visit of the Saxon capital Dresden we ate for the second time in the Freiberger Schankhaus for the evening bread. In the original atmosphere we feel very comfortable. The dark and harmonious interior makes the stay pleasant. The very attentive, diligent and always nice ladies and gentlemen of the service do their rest. After we found a free table without pre-order, we ordered a freshly tapped Freiberger beer for the evening bread, a glass with half a liter of one of the Freiberger beer specialities. It is not really necessary to mention that they are good. The following beers were offered for us: cellar beer, bright, natural, strong and aromatic – fresh, bock beer, dark brown, caramel malt, savory and full-bodied, pils, golden yellow, herbs – fresh and hop-concrete as well as black beer, bratmalz-aromatic and full-bodied. Prices 2022 are 0.3 liters for 3,90 €, 0.5 liter for 4,90 € or 1 liter for 8,90 €. There was also the entire offer on board, the Freiberger PRO-BIER-SET with Pils, Bockbier, Schwarzbier and Kellerbier, so 4 x 0.1 liter for 8,50 € (2018 there were still 5,90 €, see photo! We didn't want to. Since the first round had already been emptied before eating, I ordered a set with significantly less air than in the back glasses. You can see what we did in the pictures. It tasted us as expected very well. The relatively short map offers regional rustic, Saxon Bohemian cuisine and offers for almost all a lunch or evening bread offer to do something with hunger. As mentioned above, we arrived for the second time at the end of March 2022, because we were very satisfied with food and drink during the first visit. During the first visit we had a salad, once for my sweetheart, the rustic Schankhaus pan with pork roast, roasted blood sausage and barbecue sausage with bacon and sauerkraut and roasted potatoes. On my plate was a rosin with red cabbage and lumps. For me, there was still what my treasure didn't want to do or didn't want to do, so I exchanged my empty record for the almost empty record from it. Both dishes were not on the map during our last visit. During our second visit I found a delicate beer goulash with red cabbage in real Bohemian dumplings on my plate, my treasure was also very satisfied with the pork carving Wiener style served with colorful salad nest on fries. The customer's tool in the Freiberger Schankhaus is in bright beer mbels that carry their mussel to the Saxon Bergmann shymne “Glück auf, Glück auf, der Steiger” in blue writing. I find it a great idea, suitable for the silver and the capital of Saxon mining Freiberg, accidentally noticed, my hometown. Finally, we both had a Freiberger Bockbierbrand from the 1. Dresdner Spezialbrennerei »Augustus Rex«, proud 4,90 € for 0.2 cl.... The stove in the kitchen is hot and ready for use until an hour before the end of the opening period. The toilets are on the lower floor and are pleasantly clean. I almost have the full score.
