Contribute FeedbackDespite a few hiccups, Fire and Spice at DoubleTree Hotel received a range of positive reviews. While some diners were disappointed by unforeseen closures and high prices for sides, others praised the amazing service and delicious food. The brightly-lit basement setting may not be ideal for a special occasion, but the friendly staff and customizable dishes won over many customers. From fantastic naan to tasty curries, Fire and Spice offered a memorable dining experience. Despite concerns about its visibility, those who found the restaurant were pleased with the quality of the food and service. Overall, Fire and Spice seemed to leave a positive impression on diners who appreciated good food at a reasonable price in London.
The service provided by Nathalie was outstanding, and we felt very welcomed! However, the price of the sides (which were not included on the menu as we were informed) was quite expensive - £15 for Bombay aloo. While we enjoyed our experience overall, we would consider returning only if we received a pay raise.
I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. The staff was very attentive and even went out of their way to make me a delicious saag paneer dish that was not listed on the menu. It was absolutely delicious!
Akshay and Lawrence are the most friendly and attentive servers I have ever encountered.
A great evening with fantastic food and great service.
Actually booked for Indian Afternoon Tea £25 pp; we were so looking forward to trying. However, due to some miscommunication, no preps were made. We were offered an English Afternoon Tea at very short notice in a lovely private room. Service was excellent by 2 gentlemen throughout our family meet-up.
