Bengal Berties - North Finchley

The food at Bengal Bertie's in North Finchley was decent, but the restaurant is in urgent need of more staff. It took half an hour just to get our poppadoms and place the rest of our food order. The restaurant wasn't busy, with only 2 other tables occupied, but the continuous stream of takeaway calls kept the waiter occupied on the phone. It's a shame.

Bengal Bertie was a nice surprise because although it was not busy, even though it was a saturday night the food was great. The Onion Bhajees were the best we had tasted for a long time and the menu had some different things which were unusual .Service was attentive though not pushy. All in all a great evening and we will return.

The restaurant was a bit quiet, which was expected for a weekday evening. Nevertheless, the customer service was good and the food was served promptly. We especially liked the paneer tikka, although the other vegetarian dishes were a bit inconsistent. The overall price was reasonable.

This Indian restaurant in North Finchley offers delicious food and excellent service. The prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. It's a great spot for a late night curry.

I chose this restaurant to celebrate my husband's "over 70" birthday and our 5-month wedding anniversary The dining experience was phenomenal.
