we went to this restaurant to celebrate my niece, get her conclusion and had a wonderful lunch. I don't think cooking and eating here can be improved in london. we had a funny bouche of the risotto with generous truffle grass, but each cure was inventive and delicous. the employees are helpful and depend on making their experience pleasant. I eat gluten-free and they could not be more helpful to accuse me. bravo! View all feedback.
What Tetta14 doesn't like about Alyn Williams at The Westbury:
We all worked very late and were desperate for a meal. We decided to eat in the hotel since that is where we were staying. I can only comment on what we ate vs the entire menu. We had the caesar salad and burger with fries. Too much dressing in the salad, the last 1/3 of it was just floating in dressing. The burger was okay but nothing to write home about. There are several other better choices in the area (my opinio... View all feedback.
We were looking for something special (read: unusual,) when we decided to try alyn williams in the westbury, mayfair. for me the biggest selling point was the vegetarian tasting menu (with the option for wein pairing, if they really feel like splashing out).) it was great to go this ready instead of desperate trying to scan the menus for the "V" sign to see what kind of meal they can cobble together from the menu.

This is the last of my back-logged updates of my meals before our trip to the south-east. our meal in alyn williams was completely unplanned, so our last minute booking via opentable was not received by the restaurant. fortunately, despite the small hiccup, they had provided enough replacement tables on a cold Thursday night. it is really a scandal that the restaurant remains quite quiet, despite keeping a Michelin star and the very fair price especially during the week.
It is located in a beautiful hotel, so they expect only a few covers and more personalized waiter service. That's exactly what we have. they only have taste menus, but we were offered to change dishes between taste menus. of course they pay for the attention of the staff and the aesthetics of eating. but the favorite dinner of the night? the foie grass safe! here I became a foie-gras conversion!
We went here on weekend in a recommendation and we were not disappointed. The place was really beautiful, had very relaxing and warm atmosphere. Menu looked good. I had beef rib eye and my friend had pork belly and both items were served quickly, very nicely presented and tasted great. Wines were so good; we were completely impressed by the food, ambience and service. Desserts were amazing too. This place is a must visit. Definitely recommended!
