We traveled from Houston to embark on a cruise and the hotel manager suggested this restaurant for good food and drinks. Everything was excellent and reasonably priced. Great neighborhood bar. This place is not a dive bar. It's small, but they still get some live music in there too. They don't accept credit cards, which is really inconviniate, which is why they lost stars. Cmon guys, in this cashless society you need to accept credit cards. I recommend this place, but hit the ATM first. View all feedback.

Great little spot. beautiful beer on hahn, the usual domestic beer, a beautiful ipa and a perfect pint of guinness. Not to mention the Irish dug that they have, beautiful cakes, rolls and more. pay it a visit, they say hello to the friendly staff.

My boyfriend and I recently went here for beer and hot wings and everything was good and had affordable prices. also, The bartender was friendly and gave us great service. The Blackthorn is great if you want a laid back and fun experience with good tasty bar food, drinks and great music playing, it's a little on the small side space-wise but cozy and a great place to grab a cold one with some friends or a casual date with someone.
