This place is truly unique. I got the bowl and it was fantastic! A really chill and warm atmosphere. Definitely give this place a try for lunch or dinner

Easily the worst Tonkatsu I’ve had. The pork in the tonkatsu was actually quite good and flavorful though, but the broth was just so unpleasant and many of the additions tasted off, such as the bamboo shoots. My egg was also wayyyy overcooked. Those ordering with me had similar thoughts about their dishes, which were Veggie and Tofu ramen, beef udon soup, and another tonkatsu. The worst chicken Karaage I’ve ever had.. I ordered it for snacks, but it tasted super dry and hard, which made it much overpriced and not worth $10 at all! $10 can get a Shake Shack burger and a drink for a full meal already. Can’t believe it’s especially calling out “Japanese soft juicy dried chicken” in the menu. Any real Japanese would feel ashamed of it.

It is a really nice restaurant located in a very good area of evanston. The Lava Takoyaki we tried was very yummy.

Wonderful place! Cool decor, DELICIOUS food, and friendly service!!! I had the spicy ramen and I'll be back for more ASAP!
