Hofbräuhaus St. Louis — Belleville

I've given this place a couple tries now but the staff really ruins the experience here. I really wanted to like it. First it took forever to get to get a server. I eventually had to get someone's attention and after that we were punished for our transgression of asking for a server for the remainder of our stay. Food was pretty disappointing as well. Great service, discuss dining hall, the fish was amazing! And I loved the beer cheese, just wish they had more options for beer.

The food was excellent tonight! Portions were very generous and the staff exceptional!

We still had a good time but for the prices charged quality should be way better. It was basically a Swanson’s frozen meal served German style. The sauerbraten was days old and way way over cooked. Sausage platter was good, beer was good, pretzel and potato pancake were a disappointment. Its such a shame. Doubt I’d go back. Place was very clean though.
