While the food was enjoyable, it certainly wasn’t enough to entice us to return. There were numerous issues right from the moment we entered the restaurant. The hostess/server seemed unfamiliar with OpenTable and didn't know how to confirm our reservation. They were advertising a prime rib special for Saturday night, but it turned out they had none available. Additionally, the server refused to substitute macaroni and cheese for a vegetable, despite all the initial problems we faced. Sometimes, it's just necessary to accommodate customers to make things right, even if it requires bending the rules a bit. Furthermore, the lettuce in the salad was brown, and there was nothing remarkable about the restaurant's ambiance. In fact, it felt like just another unremarkable spot in a strip center. That said, I will say that the meatloaf and coleslaw were quite good.
This is a lovely place to stop by for breakfast or lunch, featuring very friendly staff. I thoroughly enjoyed my fish and chips, and the fries were outstanding. Be sure to try the homemade chocolate brownies—they're a must!
The staff were welcoming, and the food was excellent. We will certainly return!
