While some diners praised the fantastic views and quality of food, others found the menu lacking and service inconsistent. Complaints ranged from overpriced meals to dry salmon and sticky risotto. However, the attentive service from certain staff members stood out positively. The restaurant maintains a loyal customer base, but there are calls for menu upgrades to keep up with changing tastes. Overall, Little River Inn seems to be a hit or miss, with some patrons eager to return while others suggest exploring other dining options in the area.
After spending a week on the Oregon Coast and having wonderful dinners we were disappointed in our dinner at Little River Inn. The salmon was dry and overcooked. Although the scallops were good the risotto that they were served on was very gluey. Maybe we just selected the wrong dinners that night. A large party came in and our server was distracted so she did not even ask how our dinners were. Service was good until that point. John was very knowledgeable and helpful with our selection of wine
Excellent food and service in a spectacular setting. Highly recommended
Wonderful meal....especially the clam chowder....made with whole clams! Loved it
Food was terrific and staff very attentive, professional but not aloof. Highly recommend
Little River Restaurant is always good, but dinner menu could stand some upgrades, as menu hasn’t changed in ages. Breakfasts are terrific, my favorites are eggs Benedict blueberry scones
