Sandbar Cafe Restaurant

We were very disappointed, advertised as being open from 4.00 8.30 Sunday but on arrival for dinner it was closed. Went along the road to The Drunken Sailor, where we encountered friendly staff great food.

Usually great service as got food from there many times but I dont know if its changed ownership or what. I went to order a meal for delivery only to be told they dont have a driver on that night so asked for pick up and got told no they were to busy for me to order. I drove past 10 minutes later and there were only around 10 people in there. Dont know why they dont want customers anymore but very poor.

Had no idea this gem was here.. hands down the best takeaway myself, hubby and kids have ever had cheers!

Excellent service,lovely way to start Sunday morning

Was recommended to us, so dropped in tonight to get some light takeaway, as we like to support the local business's.Orderred a Chicken Bacon sandwich off their menu, but was told they were too busy tonight to prepare it. There were only 10 people dining in and 6 of them already had their meals!!... never realsed a sandwich was so difficult time consuming to make.Orderred calmari salad..... 45mins later, got my order. One of the diners commented on my way out .... I was a very patient person.Calamari was delicious, but the service attitude here....very poor.We're up here for another 2 weeks, but wont head back here dont recommend given the pathetic service.Ruined what had been a hot, but fun day.
