This is a great pub, although it's not particularly vegetarian-friendly, as mentioned in previous reviews. If you prefer vegetarian options, you might want to look elsewhere. However, other places just can't compare to the charm of this free house, which stands out in a time when many pubs feel more like corporate chains. Office Christmas party, eating was excellent all our needs were for, nice friendly coworkers brilliant atmosphere, a truly pleasant evening. would recommend the deers hut, thank you, Debbie team.
This is (quite late! A few weeks ago some friends and I had dinner and the chef rustled me up a totally amazing vegan meal on virtually no notice! Delicious! Thank You! (Ooh and my friends enjoyed their non-vegan meals too!
Went for birthday lunch on Tues 9th and had the best pub lunch ever had the beef and doombar ale pie which was absolutely delicious !
Fantastic food, location and staff! I would definitely recommend it.
