Cafe Collodium - Lindau (Bodensee)

I was here with my first date and we were very kindly welcomed. a great small cafè with very tasty coffee and tea variations and a great nice service. a cozy ambiente that invites you to stay. absolute recommendation and we will come back......

Collodium was used once in photography to produce light-sensitive glass plates. Who wonders that the Cafe Collodium was led by a photographer who (so it wants at least the legend) moved from the Franconian to Lindau to the Lake Constance because he likes it so well here. The Cafe Collodium is very, very original and stylish and serves as a gallery for the works of the cartridge. The location is located in the centre of Constance peninsula Lindau and can be reached in a few steps from the train station. Seats are just a handful. The dinoses are to be mentioned in the menu, a kind of flame cake that is otherwise found in the bathroom. The very thin, crispy dough can be both sweet and picant. I chose a version with goat cheese and honey – really delicious, especially in the composition. Saturates well for 8.90 euros, but is not difficult in the stomach. A regional fertilizer made of heifer, a bizarre lime in different flavors, with I prefer the turbidity (2.90 euros the bottle). The Bio Latte Macchiato (3,20 Euro) is fluffy-cremy and has a consistency that makes happy. I made a nice acquaintance during my visit and we could chat in detail about Lake Constance and photography. A beautiful experience in the otherwise very larvae, overturned Lindau. The Cafe Collodium can therefore be fully recommended as a resting pole.

Da wir nur eine Kleinigkeit zu uns nehmen wollten, kehrten wir hier ein. Zu Essen hatten wir unterschiedliche Dinetten (Regionale Spezialität ähnlich Flammkuchen), alle delikat und kross. Passende Weine zum Essen und ein sehr freundlicher Service laden zur Wiederholung ein.

Wir waren im Mai 2017 das erste Mal hier und sicherlich nicht das letzte Mal!Das Café ist sehr interessant eingerichtet, dennoch nicht überladen, sehr gemütlich. Aber das tollste ist der Espresso (und seine "Erzeugnisse" daraus wie Cappuccino usw. ) Hier merkt man die Passion des Barista. Der selbstgebackene Kuchen ist absolut eine Sünde wert und gehört unbedingt dazu.Für den Hunger, den wir auch hatten, gibt es sehr leckeren Flammkuchen, der lokal Dinette genannt wird.Und weil der Service (und Inhaber) einem den Aufenthalt so angenehm bereitet, dass man eigentlich gar nicht mehr weg will, ist es die logische Schlussfolgerung, dass es von uns vollkommen verdiente 5 Punkte gibt. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und sind froh, dass wir da waren.

Das Café ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Kaffee sensationell gut. Die gesamte Getränke/Speisekarte ist echt toll und ansprechend. Der Chef sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es war ein ganz gemütlicher Besuch, kann es nur weiterempfehlen.
