The service at Dorys is exceptional, the wait staff treat you like family. The selection of wine and beer is impressive, the brisket is tender, and they even surprised us with a side of black beans that isn't on the menu. The experience at Dorys is worth it just for the wait staff alone. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Dory Cove:
Last weekend I was looking for Dory Cove hours and ran over some reviews. I was quite shocked at the terrible things about our favorite restaurant for the last twenty years. Surely they were wrong. View all feedback.

If there was a lower star rating, it deserves it. shrimp way too browned on outside, rubbery inside, old fry oil ? Fish under cooked. They call it a loaded baked potato ? besides the potato not fully cooked a bit of bacon bits and cheese on it and they call it good? Tossed salad had some brown lettuce. Berry pie instead got a ganola ie berry cobbler. and $30+ for THAT! for that price could have gone to a high end restaurant and received better food.

During our stay in Lincoln City, we discovered the top-notch dining experience at Dory Cove Restaurant! All four of us were impressed with the quality of the food, service, and value. We all agreed that it was the best dinner and breakfast we had during our trip. Despite being busy, we were seated promptly on both occasions. The waitstaff was attentive, professional, and also friendly. I ordered the Surf & Turf for dinner and the 2-egg special for breakfast, and both meals were flavorful, hot, and beautifully presented.
I had the most enjoyable dining experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere was cozy with 50s/60s music playing the whole time. The food was incredible, especially the clam chowder which was the best I've had on the Oregon Coast. I loved the Salmon Melt and my husband's steak was perfectly cooked. The cod was thick and juicy and the Smoked Salmon Spread was divine. I highly recommend this place and we will definitely be returning.
