Was Anonym at Green Onion Cafe a mag?
The food is great here but the absolute best part of eating here is interacting with the staff. Hands down the loveliest bunch of wait staff anywhere. Friendly, funny, chatty and so welcoming View all feedback.

They have a lovely take on the traditional Irish breakfast but every aspect of it is unique in some small way. I have had lots all over the island and do not think it is done better. If this is their style, I can't wait to try some of the lunch offerings...
Great little find. Was looking for a vegan brekkie while staying in Limerick and this was close to the hotel Ordered the vegan breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice. The premise was very trendy. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The food was so tasty! The flavours were top notch everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. Overall the meal set us up for the day and we will defo be returning!
Had a wonderful experience at this café on our last day in Ireland. The food was exceptional (we ordered avo, pancakes, and a sandwich) and the staff and owner were so helpful and welcoming!
Delightful cafe. Great food and really high quality coffee. Their at home meal service is also great.
First time visiting this place strangely enough on Saturday. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Good coffee. Will be back here again to try the food for sure.
The Green Onion Cafe in Limerick offers delicious food and good coffee, though some find the prices a bit high. The staff is friendly, and the outdoor seating is enjoyable. While there have been complaints about not picking up tissues and the high tea price, overall, the experience was positive with fresh and tasty food. Customers appreciate the hard work of the team, and the cafe has received praise for its vegan options, trendy ambiance, and excellent coffee. With quality ingredients and top-notch flavors, the Green Onion Cafe is a must-visit spot in Limerick for a satisfying meal.

Went for breakfast on Saturday morning. Food was good. Couldn’t get over the price. €11 for a mini breakfast and €3 for a cup of tea? Makes no sense. Couldn’t and wouldn’t recommend this cafe. €14 for a mini breakfast is crazy.
Visited here with work colleagues on Wednesday 3rd Nov.Was disappointed to find that they were not checking Covid certs or taking contact details.
I just love the fact this place has been able to reopen. David and his team worked so hard throughout the pandemic and recently reopened. We have missed you and your great food!
Unfortunately with the cafe closed due to Covid, availed of the Green Onion Cafe's takeout/home delivery meals. The beef bourguignon x 2 and 4 sides were a real treat, absolutely delicious. Great quality ingredients and food. Very easy to prepare with detailed instructions. Definitely will re-order and look forward to visiting once it re-opens post Covid.
Ordered dinner for 4 from Green Onion today as we are all sick of cooking ! From the ease of ordering over the phone really friendly service, straightforward menu , the on time delivery, the instructions for reheating to the eating of the most delicious meal ; everything was perfect. We had pork belly , beef bourguignon, mash, gratin potatoes, veg, garlic ciabatta and it was so tasty. Very generous helpings and great value all helped to make it a lovely Friday evening , well needed. Thanks Dave and crew

I recently dined at this restaurant for the first time and was extremely impressed. I had a delicious goats cheese, strawberry, candied pecan, and beetroot salad followed by a slice of raspberry and almond tart that was simply amazing. The quality of the food was excellent and the prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant for lunch. The staff, decor, and background music were all top-notch as well. A new gem in Limerick that deserves top marks.
The menu at this restaurant is very unique and features high-quality ingredients. I tried the delicious Toonsbridge halloumi sandwich and my companion had the Cuban slow-cooked pork sandwich. Both dishes were so good that there wasn't a single bite left on our plates. Our children devoured the tasty brioche French toast with bacon. We will definitely be returning for more.
Everything was spot on. Friendly staff great food great music and a cup of Barry's tea (they have that Lyons stuff aswell). Definitely be back.
This restaurant is absolutely amazing. If I could, I would give it 10 stars. The food is beautiful, the staff is friendly, and the background music creates a fantastic dining atmosphere. We will definitely return.
Loved every bite! Great menu, lovely staff and atmosphere. Plenty of veggie options for breakfast and lunch all very generous portions. Looking forward to next time!
