We were looking for an easy place for dinner our last night in Cuzco (had an early flight the next morning). Our guides had recommended a couple places adjoining Kennedy Park. Café de la Paz and Parquetito are right next to each other. We looked at both menus and opted to go with CdlP. They both served about the same thing and CdlP had slightly lower prices. A couple glasses of wine to start with….I ordered the cevic... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Cafe de la Paz:
I feel that the prices were high compared to the portion size and quality of the food. Maybe I didn't order the right thing (fish in crab sauce with mashed potatoes). It was just a mediocre meal for a large price. My friend got a salmon crepe that she said was delicious. View all feedback.
Visited both Cafe la Paz locations today, and they were both faultless. They bravely endured my “Spanglish” and switched easily to English when needed. The menus are extensive and the prices are very reasonable Yes, there is a wait for the food, but that just means it’s cooked especially for you We tried their Empenadas as well as some sweet crepes. All very tasty I wouldn’t be surprised to find ourselves back again before we leave Lima
Nice place to have a drink (and maybe a snack). Quiet near the park, no cars around, experienced staff. Try the capitán cocktail. Prices are regular, taking into account you are in the middle of Miraflores.
We 've come to Peru annually for over a decade and often had drinks at La Paz. Yesterday afternoon we sat down and ordered 2 Piscos. Without asking, We got the grandes. Second order we specified the regular. Then came the bill:Soles 104! The regular was S23, the Grande S29! Piscos are available all around for 10 to 14 soles. And, these were harsh with lumpy ice. A real disappointment. Many tourist groups are dragged in there. There are better options. Outdoor seating and people watching are great, food is good, but buy your piscos elsewhere.
Had a great brunch here. The atmosphere of outdoor seats is great at weekends with all people and events outside. The food looked great and tasted good. They forgot one of our records, but the waiters were attentive and worked with us through a language barrier so that it should be understood. We recommend the French toast and avocado toast!
If you are in the mood for French Toast this is your place. It comes with bananas, blueberries and strawberries. Service is a bit slow but it’s worth the wait.
