Excellent Thai restaurant. The staff were very polite and cleared the dishes away as soon the plates were empty. Water was provided on the tables. Our food tasted great. The chicken in the curry was chunky while in the stir fry it is in smaller strips. The beef in the other curry was very tender. View all feedback.
What Lyndle Bob Advento doesn't like about Imm Oon:
I visited the restaurant on a busy Thursday night and would recommend making a reservation. The vegan Thai food was decent, although I have had better elsewhere. It was convenient to find options for both myself (vegan) and my non-vegan friend. It would be great to see a few more menu options, but I appreciate that there is something for everyone to choose from. View all feedback.
My experience at this restaurant on a Saturday night was lively and bustling, although a bit hectic at the front counter. The service was functional but rushed, with our order being taken after waiting for a while. The food presentation was beautiful, but the taste was not as exciting as expected. However, if you enjoy tofu, this place does it well. We requested additional vegetables and tofu on our noodles, which was a good call as there wouldn't have been much otherwise. We were a bit disappointed to be charged extra for the vegetables and tofu, considering it is a standard inclusion in similar dishes elsewhere. The garlic noodles, priced at $5, turned out to be just garlic on noodles with a hint of fish sauce, which was not mentioned on the menu. We asked for clarification and were assured that there was no fish sauce, but we chose not to eat the dish. On the other hand, the tofu salad was enjoyable with a refreshing touch of lime and coriander.

On the Saturday evening we visited, this restaurant was bustling and had a hint of a French influence at the front counter. The service was efficient and friendly, although we had to wait a bit before being seated as we watched numerous takeout orders being prepared. The food was presented nicely, but we found it to be a bit lacking in flavor. However, if you enjoy tofu, you might enjoy their dishes. We requested extra sweetness and tofu on our noodles, which made a significant difference in taste. We were a bit surprised by the additional charges for these extras, as we have paid less for similar dishes at other restaurants. The garlic noodles, priced at $5, seemed promising but we were disappointed to find them lacking in flavor. After questioning the staff about the ingredients, we learned that there was no fish sauce in the dish, but we ultimately chose not to eat it. The tofu salad was a highlight, with a beautiful presentation and a refreshing taste thanks to the lime and coriander.
The night I visited (on a Thursday) was quite crowded, so I would suggest making a reservation. The food was decent, but I have had better vegan Thai dishes elsewhere. It was great to be able to dine out with my friend (who is not vegan) and still find something to eat. I wish there were a few more options available, but at least there is something to choose from!
I had a fantastic dinner at this restaurant last night and believe they deserve better reviews. We arrived around 5 o'clock for an early dinner with my family. The waitress accidentally entered the wrong order into the system, so we received Pad Thai with beef instead of chili basil flat noodles with pork neck. However, they quickly rectified the mistake and brought out the correct dish within 10 minutes. In addition to that, we also enjoyed chili basil stir-fried chicken mince, roti, pork spring rolls, and ginger fish for our little one. All of the dishes we ordered were excellent, although the food can be quite spicy so be cautious with your spice level selection. Each dish had great flavors and fresh veggies. We were unable to finish everything and had to take some home, but the next day the leftovers were still delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone craving Thai food in the area. Unfortunately, I was so engrossed in enjoying the food that I forgot to take photos. Additionally, I noticed that the menu has been updated as well.
