John's Ice Cream Factory - Liberty

This restaurant serves the best ice cream in Maine, and possibly anywhere. All of the flavors are homemade, including the waffle cones. The banana flavor actually tastes like real bananas, not like artificial banana taffy, and the strawberry rhubarb tastes like a perfect combination of strawberries and rhubarb with just the right amount of sugar. Even my son, who is usually not very adventurous with food, admitted that the cookies and cream flavor was very good. If you don't try the ice cream here, you'll never know what you're missing.

The ice cream here is absolutely delicious - it's creamy, smooth, and the flavors are excellent! I just wish there was a location on the South Shore of Boston!

I visit my daughter's family in Montville, Maine twice a year and John's Ice Cream is the best I've ever had. I can't believe someone gave it a bad review saying it had no flavor - I haven't heard anyone else say anything negative. There must be something wrong with that person.
