Godfather's pizza is a dying breed, but this place has kept in the test of time. The pizza is cheesy and delicious. I personally like the golden crust that is beautiful rich butter taste to combine with any special pizzas. During this visit I only have two, one pizza for the children. I would recommend this restaurant and it is friendly staff. They offer a buffet when you catch it on the right day an hour. View all feedback.
Evening buffet is 5-7:30. Friendly and polite from the beginning. Even when the cashier was busy when we got in, she made sure we knew she was right with us. The buffet was fresh and in stock. The salad bar is included and they even had boneless wings! There were many varieties in Toppings, but most were thin crusts (which I did not prefer). But when I made a pizza request for a thicker cake, they did it happy. I see some negative reviews here to close due to missing options nearby. Tonight I saw her trying to keep fresh pizzas at the end, although there weren't so many people. They had to waste 3 plus good pizzas. If you are in the last half hour of a buffet, you should expect to blur the options so that the food is not wasted. Or just make a request. My request was submitted in the last 20 minutes and they did it without complaint. Very clean, comfortable atmosphere, well prepared food and offered a military discount. I even saw that they were offering boxes to go to a family that arrived shortly after the buffet was shut down. In this way the family had to get a variety and the store did not have to waste extra food. Smart.
I won't lie. That's probably my favorite pizza place. I'm driving a great way to go here and enjoy the buffet if I can. Great atmosphere and nostalgic. Owners who really care about the quality they offer. It's not the best pizza I had, but it's still my favorite because they do everything well while they take the time to check on you when the business slows down. It's not always about going to the place with the best food. It is about taking a place with good food at good prices and with good employees and owners who take a customer first approach is it perfect? Damn no. Is it worth the money? Absolutely! It has become a family favorite and if there is not a 25 minute drive we would be there every few days.
Taco Pizza is the best. I only go during the buffet hours M Sat 11 1:30 and 5 7:30. You can be a little slow to get new fresh pizza out. Don't be afraid to ask for something. If they're not busy, they don't make pizzas. You also have the chic Coca Cola machine where you can choose different flavors.
We chose Godfathers for a get together with the family. We love the buffet. They are constantly adding more pizza and if they do not have the pizza you are wanting you can ask them to make it. They also have there monkey bread, chicken tender pieces, potato wedges, and cheese sticks. The salad bar isn't anything huge or spectacular but it does suffice. The kids really enjoy it there too. They all love the buffet and they have arcade games as well for all ages.
Best Godfathers left in the KC area. Godfathers has been my favorite pizza place all my life. The one I used to go to closed down and there are a couple others closer to me, but this is the only one in town that makes a Godfathers pizza that tastes like a Godfathers pizza. I drive from KCK to Liberty just for the quality I get from this location. Wish the other locations would take lessons from this store. So if you want a good pizza don't pass this place by. It is the best one in town. I've noticed more of the Godfathers Express locations popping up in gas stations. The Express locations are a joke and taste nothing like the pizza you can get at the restaurants.
