Nick Ryan's Saloon - Lexington

Eating and the waiter loved each other. I wanted to sit in the bar, but you said it was full, but I never saw it felt like it. the place we sat was cold with less character.

Garnel and geese were very good! baked chicken was good. the cauliflower soup was excellent. our waiter was wonderful. the kitchen sent our dinner early with our maisfritters, so we felt a bit hurried. otherwise it was a great dinner!

Great server. Great food. Modestly priced. Will definitely return soon!

All was very good at our last visit, just not up to their previous levels. Bourbon list wasn't quite as extensive, menu a bit pared down (although it has all their go-to dishes) and the wait staff seemed a bit rushed. Will still be back and would recommend to others.

I was in town with friends for my birthday. We got a recommendation from our Air BNB host and it was very close so we stopped in. We were initially offered a table in between two other tables which was cramped, especially since one of my friends is 6'5 . I'm not quite sure why we were offered this particular table when there were several other tables open and available. We asked to move to a table by the window and were quickly accommodated. Our waitress was prompt in stopping by to take a drink order and was quick witted with my comedic group. She offered some great dinner suggestions. Our meal was topped off with an amazing dessert pear. I would definitely stop by again when I'm in Lex again.
