J2c Asian Bistro - Lexington

We had the Singapore Noodles, General Tso's Chicken, and the Cantonese Roast Duck tonight for dinner and I've never been happier. Definitely the best in town. I'd highly recommend J2C to anyone thats a foodie.

Fresh food, excellent service! The range and variety of food is great, but the menu isn't overwhelming either (so that's good! . They have a curated selection of Hong Kong style dishes in addition to standard Chinese fare. I only wish they had some modern Chinese drinks and desserts on their menu. Otherwise, I highly recommend this place if you are looking for some delicious Chinese food that's more on the authentic side.

Best Chinese food around. No comparison. Get the General Tso's chicken and the dumplings, you won't be let down.

Truely exceptional. Standard American Chinese offerings, but also a Hong Kong Style menu, which is what got me excited. Edamame and fried pork dumplings were lovely. Kailan (beef and Chinese broccoli stir fry) may be one of the best things I 've ever had. Top 10, easy. Well, I shouldn 't oversell it it was good. Ginger and scallion chicken was also a delight. Only thing for American palets: the skin is left on in this dish and is not crispy. But it peels off easily if you don 't like that. Can 't wait to come back to Lexington for this restaurant and this restaurant alone.

Wow. I have had General Tsao's from a ton of different places but this one tops them all. I think they make it like it was actually meant to be made. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, nice big juicy chunks, and just the right blend of spices and sugars in the sauce. The rest of the menu is good too, but dang that chicken is something to be had. Kudos.
