The Railway - Lewisham

Decided to meet Sunday dinner! the pub has recently gone through a renovation and looks all fresh and new! the service is great that eating was of a good quality, although some items on my teller were cold. not a bad place to have a drink and just spend some time with good friends or a loved one.

Good reliable pub. always busy. the food will not win prizes. but a good place to meet friends for a few drinks. the do live band /open mic nights.

Gastro pub with delicious traditional foods with a twist and delicious modern favorite like halloumi fries with chili jams short summary atmosphere friendly and cozy staff and management friendly and helpful kid friendly no kids menu, but much to choose and share menu and selection series gastro pub selection at a high standard made recommend them friends and family yes cleanliness recommend to sit outside or on the sunny day

Many thanks that so much the manager and the nice bar staff makes for our night brilliant too ray. they were from the moment I came there when we were all just absolutely beautiful for all of us and I am incredibly grateful how the night was running so smooth. the service for our party of 22 was exceptional, and the eating incredible, (notes to the cook.) I very much hope that they will stay the full time manager there, as they have a beautiful art away with their customers and employees and beautiful large bright smile. many thanks once again the night was an absolute success for them and their bar staff. rules jade xx

Had the best weekend here. As you can see from the pic the burgers are amazing. We sat in the garden during the day then came back later in the evening for the live band who were playing all soul and funk. The singer got the crowd going so well and was really interactive. It was good to see a crowd enjoying life the way we did pre covid. Great atmosphere and fun team behind the bar.
