City Noodles - Lewisham

City Noodles was once an amazing place to eat but over the last few months the standard has gone downhill. Food is now tasteless, Ribs fatty. Noodles you can make better at home. No taste at all. I ordered a sea bass with black bean...sauce which cost £12.00. The sauce was nice but once i got tucked in i notice there were hard bits in my mouth which i realised was scales. It was awlful so ended up in the bin along with the tasteless noodles. I rang the restaurant and chef said that's how it arrives from the supplier. I mentioned that chef still has a duty to de-scale the fish before cooking and serving to customers. I was then told that if i didn't want the skin i should have informed them. I mentioned i did want the skin but not with scales on it which to me is obvious.The conversation was going around in circles. They didn't offer any compensation or money back so will not be going back again. I have warned friends and family not to waste there money and go elsewhere.

Pad Thai was awful, over cooked and chewy. When I removed from the container, it keep the shape. Weird red colour, and I needed to use a knife to seperate noodles as they were stuck together. Ended up in the bin. Expensive for portion size...and quality

This place has been here years It used to be top of our list when working late shift Dropped in the other night after not been for a while Main change was hike in price by at least 20 percent oh and no free drink...Think will go back to our other eateries on lates

I dive into the city nudel after work on friidays. due to kovid but I have ordered online. I can honestly say it is the best to eat in the opposite and all the staff I have spoken was polite and friendly. excellent service.

We ordered a take of 18.30 clock for the Chinese New Year. the eating had not arrived at 9.30 a.m. when I called to ask for an update, said the employee that they would check the status of the order. then they continued to leave me ten minutes on the way and never came back to me. I had no choice, but hang up. inacceptable behavior. avoid like the plague.
