Went into Hong Kong Gardens last night and had a good experience. The staff were attentive and the food was good. The food came out extremely quick to the point that I was worried about how quick it came out. However the quality was good and the presentation was nice as well. The restaurant had several people in it but they had on enough staff to take care of everyone. We were greeted promptly and asked several times... View all feedback.

Just ordered the dinner for 4 for a recent birthday lunch and I would have to give it a poor rating. The food was of cheap quality and was very close to that of a food court only worse. The food was cold and of poor quality. We did not mind the won ton soup or the deep fried shrimp but we were not impressed with much else, sorry to say.Would not recommend for take out but may be better if ordered in the restaurant bu... I visited this restaurant for the first time this evening. I ordered the dinner for one with a side of bean sprouts. It said on the menu that there was a $3 charge for add ons on combination dinners, which was $12.75 +$2 extra, as I substituted the pineapple chicken balls for ginger beef. When I got my bill I saw I'd been charged $13.75 for the side of bean sprouts!! I went to the front desk and asked them to check with the management to lower the price. Their answer was no. I will NEVER RETURN!!! $13.75 for the small side of bean sprouts on the left side of my plate
Set lunch menu with few varieties is reasonably priced. Portion is good in quantity. Taste is in par with other similar places though not great. Quick service. Adequate parking. Large accommodation is possible.
If you're looking for Chinese food, this is not a good choice. Granted our food was good, but the pop was $2.50 for 1 can, and my son and I were both seriously ill later on in the evening. We definitely won't be returning.
Sadly their food has lost its taste..parking is fine and I. ...abundant. what what was what was really tastey seems seems to seems to have gone gone to gone to second place.
The location is slightly tucked away, hidden in the corner of a small strip mall, the exterior has recently been redone, interior is dated a bit and some things (chairs in particular) are showing age but it's always clean and seems to be well maintained. As for the food their Chinese dishes are some of the best in Lethbridge in my opinion, I recommend their lunch specials. From 11am-3pm you can get several combination dishes, to stay or to go, that can feed 2 people from one order, or obviously if you're hungry, it would make a great meal for one. Great place for lunch for sure.
