When you go to a restaurant you haven't been to before, you always wonder how good it is. We were the second couple there and for a while we were the only people there. The food came out quickly and we were not disappointed with the quality and freshness of the dishes and all were a good serving size. Just as I was wondering why there weren't more people at this restaurant, it quickly filled up.I wished I had known i... View all feedback.

I was near Queenscliff over a long weekend with friends and decided to go for Chinese restaurant. There aren't a lot in this stretch of the main road. The restaurant was not very big and there was just 1 connoisseur who was tripling as account and a waiter. We ordered fried rice and noodles and these dishes were of average taste.Nothing much to say, Try it if you feeling like eating Chinese or if other restaurants are... Phoned and ordered takeaway and needed to explain order twice then arrived to pick it up only to be told they had lost our order but it would be ready in 10 minutes. Another person brought there order back as they were given the wrong order then after 45 minutes waiting and noticing shocking service to other customers dining in the restaurant we finally got our food. Not the first time this sort of thing has happened apparently. not sure how they stay in business
We pop in for lunch after shopping and can always get a seat. It’s a casual little place with plenty of parking around. It’s a basic run of the mill Chinese so don’t expect anything out of the ordinary. Every time our meals have fresh, plentiful, tasty and hot. Lunch specials are more than plenty. No somewhere we would go for an evening meal. It’s BYO and does not seat more than around 40
We were staying in the area for one night without access to a kitchen, so we decided to order takeout. I ordered the battered chicken with sweet and sour sauce, while my partner ordered the chicken chow mein with curry sauce. We ended up swapping dishes because he doesn't eat cucumber, broccoli, or cauliflower, which were in the chow mein. The sauce tasted very similar to Thai green curry, which we found to be a strange combination. Overall, we were not impressed and would not go back to this restaurant.
The food at Fu restaurant was tasty and the staff were friendly. As parents of a child with nut and egg allergies, we are always cautious when getting Asian takeout, but the staff at Fu were accommodating and understanding. The interior of the restaurant is charming, and I would recommend booking a table if you plan on dining in. I will definitely be returning next time I am in Geelong.
I placed an order with this restaurant and was told it would take one hour for delivery. After waiting for 90 minutes, I called to ask how much longer it would be. They told me it was on its way, but it ended up arriving another 20 minutes later. The fried rice was cold, as if it had been taken straight out of the fridge. The meals were not enjoyable at all. When I called back to let them know about the cold food, the person on the other end simply said they would pass the message along. After this experience, I never ordered Chinese food from there again.
