We always look forward to visiting Lucinda whenever we're in South Gippsland, as it creates the perfect atmosphere for a leisurely afternoon. We enjoy sitting on the balcony with our Labrador, taking in the beautiful views of the vines and rolling hills. I highly recommend trying the local produce plate, along with their excellent wine. Over the next hour to hour and a half, we asked about the wine tasting four times, only to be told that they were short-staffed and that someone would be with us soon. We weren't even offered the chance to order more food or drinks. As someone with a background in the hospitality industry, I can understand staffing issues, but it was frustrating to see staff members chatting and mingling while we were left ignored, w... We had a very pleasant wine tasting and lunch in lucinda. it is a relaxed friendly place with some beautiful wines and great pizzas. the staff was very friendly and helpful both with the food menu and with the wine tasting we had at our table while we ate our pizza. we enjoyed the brown mushroom and the spiced lamb mince pizzas. the tasting included lucinda's own apple wine, which, although quite dry, was to my taste. we drove with several bottles of wine and 6 more.
What a great find! A very peaceful and relaxing afternoon filled with wine and cheese. After a little taste test from a friendly and very knowledgeable lady, I had the Syrah Rose. Perfect for the warm afternoon with such beautiful surrounding views. The ploughman’s platter was great value with so much variety. Best of all you have the option to add extra cheese. #glutenfree options available
A truly great experience and is absolutely a hidden gem. This proprietor really understands customer service and how to show you a great experience. Deck, cover, firepit, wine, food and views.SIMPLY LOVELY
It's been too long since I've been out to the winery. Lucinda you and your chef created a fantastic afternoon.HAPPY environment, tasty pizzas. and the wine is terrific.We will be back.
